2.7 to 3.7 GPA transformation

Alex transformed our son Cash's academic performance from a 2.7 GPA to 3.7 in just one semester, leading to his acceptance at Seattle University with a $67,000 scholarship. Since starting tutoring in September at Bellevue Christian School, the changes in Cash's performance have been nothing short of remarkable.

During recent parent-teacher conferences, we were thrilled to hear that Cash is now one of the few students with zero missing assignments, and his teachers consistently note his engagement and strong grasp of concepts. One of our proudest moments was when Ms. Cole, his math teacher, told us after a particularly challenging test, "Cash did amazing! He got about a 90.9%! Especially on such a challenging test, that is incredible!"

Alex's focus on organizational and executive function skills made all the difference. He helped Cash build practical systems that transformed his approach to school: checking Veracross regularly to stay on top of assignments and deadlines, creating a realistic morning routine to get to school on time (something Cash used to struggle with), and developing an organizational system for tracking teacher feedback and rubrics.

Beyond academics, Alex coached Cash through communicating more effectively with his teachers whenever conflicts or confusion arose. This skill alone made a huge difference in how he navigated school and showed up in class each day.

Cash even managed to complete multiple long-term projects simultaneously without falling behind—something we never thought possible before! Alex has also been invaluable in helping Cash craft his personal statement for college applications, showing his commitment extends well beyond just tutoring sessions.

With baseball at Seattle University on the horizon, Alex's support came at the perfect time. The improvement in Cash's academic confidence and performance over these nine months has been incredible. As my husband Jeff and I discussed, "let's keep Alex on speed dial!" We couldn't be more grateful for Alex's transformative impact on our son's future.
