2.7 to 3.7 GPA improvement

Working with Alex over the past nine months completely transformed my academic performance and gave me the confidence to pursue my dream of playing college baseball. With Alex's patient guidance and focus on consistent improvements, I raised my GPA from 2.7 to 3.7 and earned a $67,000 academic scholarship to Seattle University, where I'll be playing baseball this fall.

What made Alex different from other tutors was his emphasis on sustainable, incremental improvements rather than expecting unrealistic overnight changes. Instead of promising quick fixes, Alex helped me build lasting habits that actually stuck. One of the most helpful things we did was check Veracross regularly together, which kept me on top of assignments and deadlines. We also created a realistic morning routine that helped me get to school on time and ready to learn—something I used to struggle with constantly.

Alex taught me how to create systems for tracking teacher feedback and rubrics, which allowed me to improve steadily over time. Beyond just academics, Alex coached me through communicating more effectively with my teachers whenever conflicts or confusion came up. That skill alone made a huge difference in how I navigated school and showed up in class.

One of my proudest moments was when Ms. Cole, my math teacher, told me after a particularly challenging test, "Cash did amazing! He got about a 90.9%! Especially on such a challenging test, that is incredible!" Moments like that reminded me how far I'd come. I even managed to complete multiple long-term projects simultaneously without falling behind—something I never thought possible before.

Thanks to Alex's patient approach and belief in consistent progress, I not only achieved my academic goals but also opened the door to play baseball at my dream school. I couldn't have done it without his support.
